A CELEBRATION of Great British Pop is set to have the music lovers rocking at Halesowen Town Hall next month.
Following their sell-out concert at Kidderminster’s Rose Theatre, the award-winning Kidderminster Male Choir are hoping to strike a chord with Black Country pop fans.
The concert, on Saturday September 23, will feature hits by the likes of Rod Stewart, The Eurythmics and Queen.
Tickets, priced £12, are available from the Dudley Booking Office on 01384 812812 or boroughhalls.co.uk
Choir member and communications manager John Parkinson said: “The programme even includes a Spice Girls number – not your typical male choir offering – and the concert went down a storm in Kidderminster, so we are delighted to be playing Halesowen Town Hall.”
The evening will include a guest appearance by singer Katie Marlow who made her stage debut with the choir at The Rose.
Mr Parkinson added: “She has a tremendous voice and the audience loved her. They were also entertained and amused in equal measure by musical director David Barclay and the brilliant piano playing of accompanist Tony Bridgewater.”
The concert starts at 7.30pm.
