AN Oldbury school is on a list published by the government of those with crumbling concrete.
Sandwell Council said Brandhall Primary might have the reinforced autoclaved aerated concrete (RAAC) in its plant room.
The school is on a list published by the government of 147 schools in England which have the concrete.
UPDATE: council issue new statment on RAAC at Brandhall Primary
Pupils returned to the primary school on Brennand Road as normal this week.
A spokesperson for Sandwell council said: “No schools in Sandwell will be closed as a result of Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (RAAC).
“We have been notified of the possibility that RAAC may be present in the plant room at Brandhall Primary School.
"We are investigating this further and will know more details later this week.
"This will not result in any disruption for pupils as this isn’t a room they have access to and learning will continue for all Brandhall Primary School children.”
