SINGER Aled Jones is to perform in Dudley as part of a new national tour, it was announced today (Thursday September 21).
The Welshman will perform Full Circle – a show featuring songs and stories from his career – at Dudley Town Hall on Thursday November 21 next year.
Tickets go on sale tomorrow (Friday September 22) at 10am and are expected to be snapped up quickly.
The show starts at 7.30pm.
Aled shot to fame as the boy treble and voice behind Walking in the Air on classic Christmas animated film The Snowman which firmly established him as a household name.
He has gone on to sell more than seven million albums, performing in concerts and theatres all over the world.
Alex Jackson, booker for Dudley Borough Halls, said: "Aled Jones is a British icon – his voice will forever be part of Christmas in hundreds of thousands of homes across the country.
"We’re delighted to be hosting his new show, where fans will be able to hear Aled as they’ve never heard him before.
"We expect tickets to go quickly, so would urge people to get booked up on Friday morning to avoid disappointment."
Standard tickets cost £30, with VIP tickets available for £50 and meet and greet tickets priced £70.
