COLLECTIONS outside a Blackheath supermarket raised £40 for a hardworking pet rescue.
Debbie Davies carried out collections outside Sainsbury's on Halesowen Street and raised £40.55 for Pepper's Pet Rescue.
The rescue, based on the Lodgefield estate, is run by Sophie Pepper and a small team of volunteers.
Sophie said: "Debbie also raised a lot of awareness for our charity and gave out leaflets about our charity and the work we do."
