DRIVERS are warned to expect congestion in Cradley due to emergency roadworks and temporary traffic lights.
National Grid is carrying out emergency work on Colman Hill to repair a cable fault - with work estimated to take until Monday November 20.
Cadent are replacing gas mains with temporary traffic signals on Drews Holloway - with the two sets of roadworks causing misery for motorists.
A spokesperson for Dudley Council said: "Therefore congestion in the area, (especially through Drews Holloway which will be part of the signed diversion route) is likely to be significant, and extra time should be provided for all journeys, especially to the hospital."
They said of the work on Colman Hill: "In order to complete these works, National Grid have issued an “Emergency” closure notification alongside their permit.
"Works are located outside West Midlands Hospital, and therefore access into these grounds is likely to take longer during the ongoing repair works."
