BIG-HEARTED Harley Davidson riders delivered more than 1,000 Christmas presents to children in local hospitals, despite challenging weather conditions.
More than 50 members of the Wolfruna Chapter (Harley-Davidson Owners Group) turned out in the rain to bring festive cheer to young patients at Russells Hall Hospital in Dudley and those at New Cross Hospital in Wolverhampton and Walsall Manor.
Paul Brothwood, director of the Wolfruna Chapter, said: “It was a heartwarming experience to see the smiles we brought to the children's faces.
“Our members braved the rain and cold, but the warmth we received from the children, visitors, and nurses at each hospital made it all worthwhile.”
The annual event, organised by the Wolfruna Chapter, has become a cherished tradition, Mr Brothwood said.
He added: “As motorcyclists, we share a bond of brotherhood and passion for the open road, but we also share a deep commitment to giving back to our community.”
