DOZENS of jobs have been lost just weeks before Christmas as a Rowley Regis firm has gone into administration.
Cube Precision Engineering on Cakemore Road supplied the automotive, aerospace and other sectors.
After facing difficulties the firm's directors tried to sell it, but sadly no offers were made.
Forty-five jobs have been lost after it ceased trading.
Jon Roden, Rob Parker and Helen Dale, all of Grant Thornton UK LLP, were appointed as joint administrators to Cube Precision Engineering Limited on November 30.
A spokesperson for Grant Thornton UK LLP said: "The company, a West Midlands based specialist engineering firm supplying the automotive, aerospace and other sectors, faced difficult trading in recent months and its directors explored options to sell the company and its assets however, no offers were forthcoming.
"As such, the company ceased trading upon the appointment of administrators, resulting in the regrettable loss of 45 jobs.
"The joint administrators are now overseeing an orderly wind-down of the business, in line with their statutory obligations."
