Police have launched an appeal after a possible assault in the West Midlands.
Officers are trying to identify a dark coloured car, possibly an Audi A3 or similar, following an incident in Vincent Street in Balsall Heath just after midnight on Friday, December 29.
West Midlands Police said they received several reports of a woman in distress in the vehicle and want to make sure she is alright.
The car stopped in Vincent Street as the woman tried to exit the vehicle, but she was forced back in according to witnesses who were trying to help her.
The car then drove off into George Street.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: “We would like to hear from anyone who hasn’t already spoken to us to help us establish what happened.
“If you are the woman involved contact us to let us know if you are alright or if you need any further assistance.
“We can be contacted via Live Chat on our website, or by dialling 101 quoting log 17 of December 29.”
