Police have arrested two men on suspicion of kidnap after a woman was seen in distress in the West Midlands last week.
West Midlands Police were alerted to a car after it stopped on Vincent Street in Balsall Heath during the early hours of Friday, December 29.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: "A woman tried to exit the vehicle but was forced back in according to witnesses who attempted to assist her."
The car drove off along George Street with police launching an appeal to help find those involved.
Police enquiries have led them to identify the woman in the car who received minor injuries during the incident.
The two men, aged 27 and 24, were arrested on suspicion of kidnap and possession with intent to supply cannabis yesterday (Tuesday, January 2).
They have been questioned and released on police bail whilst enquiries are ongoing.
