A FORMER children’s centre in Quinton is to go for sale at auction next month.
The derelict former Four Dwellings Children's Centre, in Quinton Road West, is among properties listed for the next Bond Wolfe Auctions sale, on Thursday February 8.
Sales particulars say the single-storey purpose-built building has suffered fire damage and needs renovating but may be suitable for redevelopment, subject to obtaining necessary planning consents in Birmingham.
It is on the market with a guide price of £300,000+ plus fees.
Located next to Four Dwellings Primary School, the 2,622 sq ft freehold property comprises a nursery/play room, library room, two reception rooms, sensory room, staff room, kitchen, health room, three store rooms, two staff WCs, children's WC and disabled WC.
It also includes a car park with space for 17 vehicles.
The property is being sold off by cash-strapped Birmingham City Council.
The auction, which starts at 8.30am, will be livestreamed on the BWA website.
Anyone interested in bidding must pre-register by 3pm the day before the auction.
