EIGHTIES pop icon Martin Fry is to appear in Dudley for an evening that will see him answer questions from fans, tell stories and sing his hits.
The frontman of 80s New Romantics ABC will be at Dudley Town Hall on Sunday October 20.
'ABC – An Intimate Evening With Martin Fry' will see the star perform hit songs including Poison Arrow, The Look Of Love and Be Near Me.
Fry will also share personal stories of more than four decades in the music industry, and take questions from audience members.
The star said: “This tour really is something a bit different; an opportunity for stripped-back music and conversation with my fans. It will be really special, I can’t wait.”
Rupert Knowlden, manager of Dudley Borough Halls, said: “Flamboyant and charismatic, Martin Fry enjoyed worldwide success as the lead singer of 80s New Romantics ABC.
“We’re delighted he has chosen Dudley Town Hall as one of the venues for his most intimate nationwide tour yet, and can’t wait to welcome him in October.
“I would urge people to get in quick and snap up tickets when they go on sale tomorrow, as I’m sure they won’t last long.”
Tickets will be available from 10am on Thursday January 25 and they can be purchased online at boroughhalls.co.uk or by calling the box office on 01384 812812.
