SNOW has been spotted falling in Halesowen this afternoon (Friday, March 1) as the Met Office forecast more overnight.
The Met Office has forecast that showers easing with further rain and snow arriving overnight in the West Midlands. An eyewitness said they spotted some snowflakes when driving home at around 3pm.
In an update this afternoon, the agency said: "Showers remain possible, these wintry at times, especially over high ground this evening with a more organised band of rain, possibly snow, arriving through the early hours.
"Patchy fog, frost and ice developing under any clearer skies. Cold. Minimum temperature 0 °C".
The agency also said there may be snow in the West Midlands on Saturday (March 2).
