SINGER Aled Jones has announced a second date in the borough as part of his national tour.
The Welshman will perform Full Circle – a show featuring songs and stories from his career – at Halesowen Town Hall on Thursday May 29 next year.
Tickets go on sale today (Friday) at 10am and are expected to be snapped up quickly.
Aled shot to fame as the boy treble and voice behind Walking in the Air in Christmas animated film The Snowman which established him as a household name and he has gone on to sell more than seven million albums, performing in concerts and theatres across the world.
He is also performing the show at Dudley Town Hall later this year, on Thursday November 21.
Rupert Knowlden, manager for Dudley Borough Halls, said: “Aled Jones is a British icon – his voice will forever be part of Christmas in hundreds of thousands of homes across the country.
“We are delighted to be hosting a second date in the borough for his new show, where fans will be able to hear Aled as they have never heard him before.
“We expect tickets to go quickly, so would urge people to get booked up on Friday morning to avoid disappointment.”
Standard tickets cost £30, with VIP tickets available for £50 and Meet & Greet tickets at £70.
