A CAR which was parked in Halesowen burst into flames - with police and firefighters called to the scene.
The car fire broke out on Halesowen Road at around 9.20pm on Sunday (May 19).
Dramatic pictures shared by Halesowen police show the blaze.
Firefighters from Haden Cross attended and put out the fire, which is believed to have started accidentally.
Halesowen Police tweeted: "Halesowen NHT have supported West Midlands Fire Service this evening at an electrical car fire on Halesowen Road."
A spokesman for West Midlands Fire Service said: "Just before 9.20pm on 19 May we responded to a car on fire in Halesowen Road, Halesowen.
"A fire engine and a 4x4 brigade response vehicle, crewed by a total of seven firefighters, attended from Haden Cross fire station.
"The fire, involving a vehicle on a pavement, is believed to have started accidentally.
"Firefighters in breathing apparatus used hose reels to extinguish it, before leaving the scene at 10.45pm.
"The police also attended, to assist with traffic management."
