A BLACK Country animal charity is seeking loving new homes for two nervous cats and an elderly Staffie.
Pensnett based Ravens Rescue is forever busy rehoming pets that find themselves, often through no fault of their own, needing a new place to call home and a person to love them.
Some of those taken in are quickly snapped up but for others it can be a long waiting game.
Three such pets that have been awaiting a forever home are female cats Mortisha and Wednesday and elderly female Staffie Cassie.
Tabby and white cat Wednesday is a nervous girl but affectionate in her own way. She is clever and knows her name and will come when called.
She loves cat toys and adores other cats, so will need to live with another cat who will interact with her and in a quiet, child free home where she can continue to grow in confidence. She does hide when scared and would need to be an indoor cat although would enjoy a secure patio.
Black cat Mortisha can be nervous initially but enjoys a fuss. She is cheeky, playful and loves other cats and is not too fazed by dogs that are used to cats.
She would benefit from living with another cat or could possibly live with a calm dog which is used to cats. She could live with children over 10-year-old as loud noises and sudden movements can startle her. She will need to be brushed/groomed regularly.
Finally, Cassie is a sweet 14-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier who came into the care of Ravens Rescue as her owner could no longer keep her. Being an older girl she would suit a quieter home.
Anyone who thinks they might be able to offer a permanent home to either Cassie, Mortisha or Wednesday can get in touch with Ravens Rescue via the registered charity’s Facebook page or website https://ravensrescueuk.weebly.com/ or email ravensrescueuk@gmail.com
