A TEENAGED boy arrested after shots were fired at a car in Halesowen earlier this month has been bailed.

Police have been investigating after an Audi was reportedly shot at and rammed by a Nissan Qashqai on Maypole Fields just before 1am on May 16.

And on May 24 it was confirmed that a 16-year-old boy, from Sandwell, had been arrested in connection with the incident which luckily did not result in any injuries.

The teenager was taken into custody for questioning after being arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm.

But he has subsequently been released on bail, police confirmed today (Wednesday May 29).

A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: “The suspect was bailed, and enquiries into the incident continue.”
