A spokesperson for Dudley Council said: "The restriction is required to safely facilitate carriageway resurfacing works.
"The works will be carried out on 2 separate weeks and the roads will be closed for a maximum of 2 days on each week."
The road will be closed from the junction of Rounds Hill Road to the junction of Halesowen Road.
It is one of 67 roads across the borough which are being resurfaced.
