Police have shamed a number of drivers for bad parking around Lye.
Halesowen Police took to social media to shame motorists for the way they had parked their cars with some completely covering the footpaths.
The cars that were parked on the footpath was blocking the route for pedestrians despite police previously warning that pathways should have enough space for a wheelchair, children’s pushchair or a blind person with an assistance dog to get by.
The parking patrols took place yesterday (Tuesday, June 4) in Cherry Street and Bald’s Lane.
Police have also reminded residents that unnecessary obstructions will lead to a fixed penalty notice coming through their door.
A spokesperson for Halesowen Police said: “Halesowen NHT we’re on parking patrols yesterday in Cherry Street and Bald’s Lane, Lye.
“Please park your vehicles correctly as we may be visiting your road very soon. Fixed penalties on their way.“
