TWO men who were arrested after shots were fired in broad daylight have been released on bail, police have confirmed today.

Shots were fired on Grafton Road, Oldbury, on Sunday (June 9) with officers called to the scene at about 2.30pm.

Two men, aged 34 and aged 35, were arrested on suspicion of possession of firearms.

A spokesman for West Midlands Police confirmed today (Tuesday June 11) that the pair had been released on conditional bail.

He added that enquires into the incident were ongoing.

An investigation into the incident saw armed police officers seal off Long Lane in Shell Corner, Halesowen, on Sunday. 

A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said the officers in Shell Corner were carrying out "ongoing enquiries in the area" after the two men were arrested.
