THE air ambulance landed in Halesowen to help a man who was in a serious condition.
Medics were called to a medical emergency at a private address on Woodleigh Close at 4.56pm on Friday (July 5).
The Midlands Air Ambulance from Staffordshire attended as well as two ambulances, two paramedic officers, a Hazardous Area Response Team paramedic and a MERIT trauma doctor with a critical care paramedic.
The man received care at the scene before he was taken to the QE hospital by land ambulance.
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called to a medical emergency at a private address on Woodleigh Close at 4.56pm on Friday.
"Two ambulances, two paramedic officers, a Hazardous Area Response Team paramedic, a MERIT trauma doctor with a Critical Care Paramedic and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Staffordshire to the scene.
"On arrival we discovered one patient, a man, who was in a serious condition.
"He received specialist trauma care at the scene before being taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham, by land ambulance."
