THE 'best and worst' GP surgeries in Halesowen according to patients have been revealed as part of an annual NHS survey.
Halesowen Medical Practice, Lapal Medical Practice and Stourside Medical Practice were ranked as the three joint best surgeries in the town, taking the highest marks for overall experience.
Feldon Lane Practice scored the lowest for overall experience with 63 per cent of people saying they had a good overall experience.
The figures come from the NHS’s annual GP Patient Survey which was published yesterday (Tuesday July 16) and reveals how Halesowen's doctors' surgeries were rated between January and March.
Residents were asked for their opinion on a variety of elements with practices, from booking appointments, waiting times, out-of-hours services and the quality of care given.

The surgery to come out on top in the rankings when it came to booking a GP appointment was Stourside Medical Practice on Birmingham Street, Halesowen, with 86 per cent of people saying the experience was ‘good’ followed jointly by 75 per cent of respondents at Halesowen Medical Practice in Quarry Lane, Halesowen, and 75 per cent of respondents at Lapal Medical Practice in Goodrest Ave, Halesowen, answering the same.
At the opposite end of the scale in Halesowen - 53 per cent of respondents at Feldon Lane Practice said booking an appointment was a good experience.

The latest survey consisted of around 2.56 million questionnaires.
A total of 699,790 patients completed and returned a questionnaire, resulting in a national response rate of 27.3 per cent.
