WORCESTER Aldi is now open after a man was trapped under a lift there last night.
The store on Pheasant Street, Lowesmoor was closed following the incident which left people with 'serious injuries.'
A police cordon was put in place on the Aldi car park with officers remaining on the scene throughout the evening.
However, the store has now been fully re-opened, and shoppers are returning.
Fire crews were called to rescue the man at around 5.40pm before leaving him in the care of the ambulance service and police.
West Mercia Police has revealed Worcester City Council is now taking the lead on the incident.
We have contacted Aldi and Worcester City Council for a comment and are awaiting a response.
