A CONSULTATION asking for people's opinions on car parking at a Cradley park is running.

Dudley Council is inviting people to take part in an online survey to see if there is a need for extra car parking for people using Homer Hill Park.

The council is reviewing on-road parking on Benjamin Drive and the future of a double yellow line markings Traffic Regulation Order, which has been placed on hold while the council consults.

People can find out more about the consultation and are invited to take part in the survey by visiting www.dudley.gov.uk/homerhillparking

Councillor Damian Corfield, cabinet member for highways and environment, said: “We have written to people who live in this immediate area to seek their views on car parking around Homer Hill Park and we are also asking people who visit the park to have their say.

“Following the online survey, Dudley Council will review if there is additional parking need for Homer Hill Park.

“Any changes would be subject to the full planning process and would depend on future funding becoming available.”

Benjamin Drive is a private road on land held in trust by Dudley Council.

Homer Hill Park is managed by the Ernest Stevens Trusts Management Committee.

The consultation is open until 5pm on Monday August 5.

Results will be submitted to the Ernest Stevens Trust Management Committee for further consideration.
