A DOG has been seized after it bit a woman and a teenage boy in Pensnett, inflicting 'serious' injuries.
Police were called to Haywharf Road, Pensnett, at around 11am this morning, (Tuesday July 23), after receiving reports of a dog attacking two people.
The victims - a woman in her 40s and a 14-year-old boy - suffered 'serious' injuries to their arms.
The breed of dog is not known.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: "A dog has been seized after it bit a 14-year-old boy and a woman, in her 40s, in Haywharf Road, Pensnett this morning around 11am.
"Both have injuries to their arms which are serious, but fortunately not life-threatening or life-changing."
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called to reports of an incident at a private address on Haywharf Road at 11.03am, one ambulance attended the scene.
"On arrival we discovered two patients, a teenage male and a woman, both of whom were treated and taken to Russell’s Hall Hospital."
