INVESTIGATIONS continue after a stabbing incident outside a Stourbridge school.
A boy, aged 15, was injured in a knife attack in Grange Lane, outside Pedmore High School, at around 3.20pm on Wednesday September 25.
Three teenagers were arrested after the incident and police have now confirmed that a fourth teenager has been arrested as part of the investigation and that all have been released on bail while enquiries continue.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: “We've arrested four teenagers - aged 15 to 17 - as part of our investigation so far.
“They have all been bailed with conditions while our enquiries continue.”
The teenager injured in the incident sustained wounds to his face, but his injuries were not said to be life-threatening.
Bosses at the school, part of the Invictus Education Trust, praised teaching staff and police for their response to the incident and said the whole school community had pulled together.
