DUDLEY Zoo and Castle is getting set for a spooktacular Halloween half term.
Visitors to the attraction can help identify its collection of donated animal skulls and skeletons in the Discovery Centre, as well as viewing an exhibition of tarantulas, from Saturday October 26 to Sunday November 3.
People can also explore the 11th century Dudley Castle, reportedly one of the most haunted places in the UK and hear more about the ghosts of the past during the zoo’s daily talks programme.
Visitors can also learn about some of the site’s rarest and scariest animals, enjoy creepy arts and crafts in the farm barn and follow a bat trail around the zoo to discover some of the 200-plus species living across the 40-acre site - with the chance to win an adoption of a zoo animal.
Zoo manager Matt Lewis said: “We’ve got fun for all the family this half term and with our kids go free ticket offer continuing throughout the holidays, when up to two children can visit for free with every full-paying adult, visiting DZC this autumn is fangtastic value!”
To claim the kids go free offer, which is running every day until November 29, tickets must be bought in advance from the zoo’s website.
