A CAR burst into flames in Oldbury this morning with the road closed while emergency services dealt with the scene.
The incident happened on Tower Road just before 8am this morning (Monday October 14).
Firefighters from Oldbury Fire Station put out the fire, which was believed to have started accidentally.
The driver was not hurt. A picture from the scene shows the car engulfed in flames.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Fire Service said: "Firefighters made the vehicle safe.
"The driver was uninjured.
"Tower Road was temporarily closed but re-opened a short time after.
"Recovery of the vehicle was arranged by the insurance provider."
Firefighters left the scene at 8.53am.
