DUDLEY libraries will be hosting spooky fun sessions for Halloween during the October half-term holiday.

Little ones can enjoy Halloween craftmaking and storytelling sessions and witches’ potion trails, carve a pumpkin and decorate biscuits at libraries across the borough, which are run by GLL.

Stephanie Rhoden, GLL partnership manager for Dudley Libraries, said: “It’s important that the whole family feel welcome in our libraries – especially during school holiday periods like October half-term.

“We’ve worked hard to ensure there’s lots to do for everyone and are looking forward to some spooktacular creativity.”

Events and activities will be taking place at Wordsley, Halesowen, Sedgley, Long Lane, Coseley, Dudley, Gomal, Brierley Hill, Netherton, Stourbridge, Cradley and Kingswinford libraries.

Councillor James Clinton, Dudley Council’s cabinet member responsible for libraries, said: “We’ve more than 100 activities happening across our libraries this half term with crafts, story-time sessions, Lego and board games, competitions and films.”
