A MOTORCYCLIST in his 60s was left with life threatening injuries following a crash on the M42 on Friday evening (October 18).

The collision happened around 6.40pm, west bound near to junction 2.

A white Scania HGV, a grey VW Polo and a white Triumph motorbike collided.

The motorcyclist was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital with life threatening injuries.

West Mercia Police have launched an appeal for information.

A spokesperson for the force said: "Officers would like to speak to anybody who may have seen the collision or from anybody who has dash cam footage from around the time it happened.
