POLICE investigating a supermarket theft in Oldbury have issued an appeal to trace a man caught on camera that they want to speak to.
West Midlands Police have issued a CCTV image of a man they want to trace after the incident at a supermarket in Wolverhampton Road in which alcohol was stolen.
The incident happened at around midnight on October 7.
A police spokesperson said: “A member of staff was knocked to the ground as the goods were taken. Thankfully they weren’t badly hurt, but this is not acceptable.”
Anyone with information or able to identify the man pictured is urged to call police on 101 or to contact officers via Live Chat on the force website, quoting crime reference 20/899452/23.
