TWO men from the Black Country have been charged after an armed burglary.
In the early hours of Tuesday morning (November 5), a property on Barnes Hill in Birmingham was broken into and electrical items were stolen.
A man in his 30s was also attacked in the raid.
Mateos Narke, aged 29, of Marshall Road, Oldbury and Daniel Clarke, aged 41, of Mission Drive, Tipton, have both been charged with robbery and possession of a knife.
They appeared in court on Wednesday (November 6) and have been remanded in custody for their next court appearance in December.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: "As the darker nights set in, it's important to take extra precautions to keep your home safe.
"We often see a seasonal rise in burglary across the West Midlands through the autumn and winter months.
