A TEENAGER was kicked in the face during disorder that broke out in Solihull last weekend.
A 16-year-old boy suffered injuries to his mouth after violence broke out near the junction of High Street and New Road in Solihull Town Centre on November 2.
West Midlands Police have said they believe the incident could have been linked to an FA Cup fixture that was taking place in the town that day.
Solihull Moors faced Maidstone United, with the Moors beating the National League South side 3-0.
Police are appealing for people who may have seen the incident or have footage of what happened to come forward and help with their inquiries.
They have said they have been reviewing CCTV and know there were a number of people in the area at the time who may have vital information.
West Midlands Police have asked anyone who believes they may have information relating to the disorder to contact them via the live chat on their website or by calling 101, quoting incident 20/958463/24.
