Youngsters at Overend Methodist Mission in Cradley are hosting a spring fair to raise cash to pay for an Indian child's education.
Worshippers need to raise £750 to provide schooling for the Dalit child and have raised £412 so far through a lunch and an evening of music.
The fair will run at the church in Banners Lane from 11am until 2pm. There will be stalls, games and lunches. Admission is free.
It will be opened by Reverend Devadas Matcha, who is himself a Dalit. Dalits come from the communities which, under the Indian caste system, used to be known as 'untouchables'.
