OLD Halesonians RFC rounded off their home league schedule with a dramatic 36-32 victory over Nuneaton Old Edwardians.
Trailing by six points with just four minutes remaining, Old Hales managed to score a converted try and a penalty to leave their visitors stunned.
Earlier Hales had trailed 12-0 and 27-12 in a game which they only took the lead at the death.
The victory moves Old Hales up to ninth in Midlands One West with just this weekend’s trip to rivals Walsall remaining.
A team of Old Hales youngsters will compete against sides from across the region at an under-13s tournament.
The competition at Stourbridge’s Stourton Park ground takes place on Sunday April 25, with the action underway at 10am.
