A Quinton dentist accused of carrying out sex attacks on four women has been cleared by a jury at crown court.
Nischal Vaidya, aged 39, denied four charges of sexual assault on four separate victims between 2006 and July 2009.
Jurors at Derby Crown Court took just under an hour to unanimously return a not guilty verdict after a three-day trial at Derby Crown Court.
Mr Vaidya, of Quinton Road, who worked at the Bhandal Dental Practice which was previously Whitecross Dental Care in High Street, Dudley, was suspended by the General Dental Council after he was charged with the offences last year.
His solicitor Errol Robinson said: βIt has had a very traumatic effect on him, and he is relieved this is over, that the jury has accepted his version of events and unanimously and quickly acquitted him.β
Mr Robinson added that Mr Vaidya, whose freelance contact with the Dudley practice had come at an end before Christmas, was now hoping the GDC would lift his suspension to enable him to work again.
