Chairman Sandra Halshore opened the June meeting and welcomed everyone.
She thanked all who had helped over the last two months in the absence.
The minutes of the last meeting were read and signed. There were several matters arising.
Halesowen in Bloom will soon be in place, all the TG in Halesowen have contributed.
Several members went to the AGM in Birimingham, Chris gave a detailed account of this.
Our charity for the coming year is Macmillan Nurses voted for by the members.
Several forthcoming events were announced including a Christmas meal at the Whittington Inn on December 1.
It was decided to send a petition to our MP objecting to the cancellation of cheques from 2018.
Our speaker was Jill Roberts on City Missions.
She included a resume of her working life, always being in a caring situation, working all over the country helping people on the streets to the present job at Hulas Homes.
The meeting closed after a cup of tea, raffle and sale of books which made £9.
