TWO senior Cradley Heath-based Ahmadiyya Muslims met their community’s worldwide leader in London for guidance on furthering the peace process.
Youth president Wassim Shah and Midlands regional outreach and sports co-odinator Toby Ephram joined other Ahmadiyya Muslims for talks with the Fifth Khalifah Mirza Masroor Ahmad at his headquarters.
Mr Ephram said they were given instructions and guidelines on how to pursue their motto ‘love for all hatred for none’ by serving their community with loyalty, freedom and equality and by working closing with councillors, MPs, police and residents.
At the same time, MPs debated concerns of Britain’s Ahmaddiyya Muslims following the murder of nearly 100 fellow worshippers in two attacks in Lahore, Pakistan, in May.
Labour MP Siobhain McDonagh, leading the debate announced that an all-party parliamentary group for the Ahmadiyyan community was being set up.
