ENVILLE registered an easy eight wicket away victory against Old Vigornians at New Road.
After choosing to bowl, Jay Willis showed excellent control and stamina to take career best figures of 7-42 from 17 overs. Nick Gordon (1-39) made a good return to the first team fold and Tom Bingham (2-4) cleaned up the tail as Enville skittled out the hosts for 86 in 34 overs.
The bowling was aided by a good all round fielding performance with six catches being held. With the ball still swinging and moving Enville lost Matt Grainger (6) before tea and Jono Howells (3) after tea.
But Matt Fradgley took full advantage of poor fielding to register 51 not out and see them home.
The seconds also scored a comfortable win at home against their Old Vigs counterparts.
After winning the toss and deciding to bowl Enville restricted the visitors to 153-9 with only Phil Mackie (67) providing any resistance and Oliver Wilcox claiming 5-39.
In reply Enville secured the win with 20 overs to spare after a 99 run opening stand between Spencer Mann (54) and Mark Goodman (53).
In a rain affected match the third XI had to settle for a losing draw against Highley.
