Stourbridge FC will be looking for some FA Trophy glory tomorrow when they host Unibond League Division One North side Salford City in a first qualifying round tie at Amblecote (3pm).
They will be making their first ever visit to the War Memorial Ground and the winners of Saturday’s tie will receive £2,300 in prize money.
New signing Ashley Langford will be looking to make his home debut in the tie after making a promising start to his Glassboys career at Swindon last weekend.
The former Tipton Town right-sided midfielder or attacker spent part of the pre-season build-up with Stourbridge, before he joined Willenhall Town for the start of the new campaign.
Gary Hackett is also hoping to have Ryan Mahon (achilles), Gavin Winsper (hamstring) and Ollie O'Connell (ankle) available although all three are rated 50/50.
Meanwhile, the Glassboys Worcestershire Senior Cup tie away to Malvern Town, scheduled to be played on Tuesday October 21 - provided an FA Trophy replay with Salford is not required - will now be played at Pershore Town.
The Stourbridge FC youth team will look to continue their remarkable run in the FA Youth Cup next Wednesday (October 22) when they travel to Hednesford Town in the third qualifying round (7.45pm).
